Sponge Problem

I am currently having a white sponge problem in my 75 gallon tank, what is the best way to rid the problem? I have been scraping the sponge off, but it keeps coming back worse than before and has spread around the tank. The tank has LPS, and Zoas. Is there something that is Reef Safe, that will eat it?

Sponges are usually a sign of good health in your reef, and they are primarily beneficial. They filter the water for you, and remove all kinds of things you end up spending money to remove otherwise. As for eating them... lots of things will, like angels, but they usually aren't what I would call reef safe. There are a few butterflys that are obligate sponge eaters, but I fear they would wipe your population out and then starve.

Are you vodka vinegar or nopox dosing ?

Amino or coral foods ?
