Sponge?

I moved one of my rocks today and noticed a bunch of growth. I’m guessing its sponges. I’ve tried looking up sponges but not many look like it. If someone can please ID it for me? And if you know if it’s good or bad? Thank you!!!

By moving them I assume something was on top of that rock. Sponges pop up in dark areas
