A purple blob and an orange blob underneath my scoly. Both have little craters like the moon in a cartoon. Are these both sponges?

I dose a little phyto every day - anything else I can do to try to keep them alive? I’ve had them (and the scoly) a couple of weeks now and the craters seem to have formed or at least gotten bigger in the last several days. Not sure if that’s good or bad!

I've had pretty good luck with Oyster Feast and Marine Snow as well as phyto.

do they contract when you wave your hand in front of them? If so they are likely tunicates rather than sponges.

No - they don’t seem to move or react at all... the little craters seem fixed.

To move them would I use an exacto knife to cut them off and then glue them to some rock? Should I wait until they get to a certain size first? They seem to be doing ok where they are for now so I’m worried about stressing them unless I have to.
