How do I get rid of these? They are spreading, and I'm afraid they will get out of control. I do have some nice bright orange ones. These whites ones keep getting bigger.

Personally I leave them all in my tank. It’s a good sign of good water conditions.

Sometimes they are growing in a place I don’t want to see them, or into a coral.

For those I use tweezers or forceps and just pull and remove what I don’t want.

Sponges are a good thing , they help clean your water . They feed off nutrients in the tank , so if your tank is high in nutrients they will continue to grow. Controlling the nutrients will in short stunt their growth as they wont have as much to feed on .
