Hi all,
My tank got so many sponges growing in the sump and the return pipes. When i turn it off the pump and re-started i got so much in the tank, like snowing.
Any idea what can i do with that?

That's excessive. You can use an old credit card to remove as many as you can by hand. For return lines, a baby bottle brush or similar to clear lines out

Is not on the glass, is floating.
And coming off from inside the return pipe, after i turn it off and on the pump.

Have net ready and snatch them up as they are suspended in the water

You could also allow air into the pipes for a few minutes and this will kill the sponges, and then clean out the pipe or turn it on and catch them with a fine mesh net

This will not get rid of them in the return pipes but you could rubber band a mesh sock over the return pipes when restarting the pump. This should catch your free floaters. Be sure to use a long sock so it does not clog right away

Yes a sock would do well for sure
