I’ve been trying to dose silicia to induce a diatom bloom for dinos. The directions to say to start with 1 drop per 20 gallons which is .01ppm in that volume. People suggest doing 1ppm per day to fight dinos. So is it safe to dose 100 drops of this stuff per day?

"Safe"? It probably won't hurt anything. But 1ppm Si per day is a LOT and without any measurement to confirm the rate of consumption or accumulation is certainly not ideal.

I would bet that - if your tank is Si depleted, and it likely is - you could probably grow diatoms well at 1/10 of that rate of addition or perhaps even less.

I'll answer this way:
If I have to pick between daily Si additions of 0.01 ppm, 0.10 ppm, or 1.0ppm Si/day, then I'd pick 0.10 ppm Si/day
