Spot on Cyphastrea Frag

Hello I recently got this Cyphastrea frag Tuesday, and when I got it one corner was kinda raised up. Now that corner has a small brown spot, the polyps don’t look terrible but are turning kinda white, all my other coral look fantastic, and my parameters are dead on. It has some new eyes growing too. Is it possible this is just new growth or something else? Any suggestions appreciate.

Take a sharp blade and bust that little area off (along with whatever the brown thing is)

For me cyphastrea always grows fast and tends to die randomly at times. You might want to lay another frag plug at the edge it to get another frag going ASAP as back up

Good eye! That’s exactly what it was scraped it off and the coral already looks happier. Thanks for the help everyone.
