This is my smallest tang, I wouldn’t say he gets picked on but he has been taught his place by 2 other larger tangs. Any who, spot popped up about a week ago, I believe it’s getting better but just wondering if anyone could identify to issue. It could be a abrasion from rocks but I’m unsure, he happy and still swimming like crazy, I do have a chalk bass that from time to time one eye will bubble up for a couple days then go away. Besides that no issue in tank. I tried to get the best pics possible....

Is it a hole or a raised structure coming off of the fish?

It was just a spot now it looks a lil raised. I figured it’s let a cut and it’s started to scab.

White spots like that are always a bit suspect. The worry of course is that it could be a bacterial infection. If it was my fish, I'd consider giving it a 90 minute bath in Ruby Reef Rally. It has both antiseptic and antibiotic qualities that would help the fish's immune system to respond to the injury/disease. Best of luck.
