Spot treat hair algee

My tank has been up and running with zero problems for about 9 months. Moths ago I had a hair algee problem but treat it flocanse, sorry for the spelling, and have had no problems since. I noticed two small problems of hair algee forming. Is there a method to spot treat the problem.

I use my fingers and a tooth brush.

Agreed.

Also the first line of defense is the clean up crew. Snails in particular.
If they aren’t getting it all, you may need more or some different ones.
