Spotcinctus clowns

Just got 2 Spotcinctus clowns and have been trying to read more on them but haven’t really seen a ton.

I am wondering who else has them / let’s see some pictures!

I put them in this afternoon and they didn’t get in the nem yet but I am hoping it won’t take too long. We’ll see

They are beautiful, but I am always worried about their aggression. Let me know how it goes!

@Solasis I have heard they are more docile of the nem clown fish. I wanted lightning maroons but quickly turned away after hearing horror stories haha.

I haven’t really heard the same for these.

Not aggressive as far as clown fish go, can have some aggression towards each other.but can get along fine with other clown species. Just having two might be an issue a few more would help imo, they do like to host nems too.

@Electriccorals thank you! They only had 2 clowns but I’m not against more. I only have a 25 gallon though and I’ve heard they get big. Would that be too big for my tank?

I do have a massive chicago nem but they haven’t looked at it yet

@CCAF how long did it take for them to go into your nem? I know it’s only been a few days but it seemed like these would go right to the Nems.

They went right into the nems, my nems are smaller maybe the size of yours is off putting to them. I moved some clarkii clowns few days ago into a different tank and they went right for the nems out of the net.

@CCAF i spoke too soon. Of course I go out of town and they go right in haha
