Thanks! I did dip this last week when I received it and didn’t see anything then. I will dip again and hope for the best.

I dipped it again and popped them off the frag. Not knowing much, from what I could find online bubble algae seems most likely.

Really, could be: they seemed flat to me but if they are bubble-like could be valonia.

They were bubble like and not flat. It almost looked like a head/hole in the center. I didnt read/see bubble algae having that. I didn’t see anywhere else in the tank, dipped and scrapped off frag.

If you break the bubble algae while plucking it off a rock or frag plug, it will have a hole on it. Assuming my interpretation of your description is correct.

Looks like bubble algae to me. You can tell they are spherical from the light reflection and shading on all of them.
