Spots on Glass

Okay so been in the hobby for about 5 months and have done tons of research so if something pops up in the tank I usually can recognize it and do as needed and not freak out or worry. Well this one is making me scratch my head. One day I walked by my tank and thought I saw the start of a ring of coralline algae and took a picture, great no big deal. Fast forward about 4 days and the ring itself has expanded outward and the glass is clean in that area. I have no idea what this is.

Only one Mexican turbo that has been in the tank for like a week. This was present even before adding it.

So the clean ring has expanded and the little specks inside the ring are not getting bigger? That's really weird. Don't think I've seen anything quite like it. Normally I would say clean the glass and keep on truckin, but this is kind of intriguing.

High flow creating an opening in the glass film? Not sure, maybe clean around it to monitor changes or clean off and see of it comes back if it bothers you. Could be snail eggs ...but unlikely imo

Could they be pods? I’m new too and I’m not sure how pods behave but a lot of the pictures I have seen of flecks on glass had people saying they were pods.

The specks are moving with the ring and leave a clean spot and thank you

Not pods, I have tons of copepods and know what they are and watch them all the time, this is different.
