Does anyone know what these spots are on the Tang and is there a cure?

I have someone else on a different forum asked if I had a clown fish, I said yes and he said the clown could be biting him for territory.. Sounds logical, especially when you are saying the same thing…

I had similar on my tang - same species. Never figured it out but she healed quite rapidly.

When I see round, circular lesions, (like in the last photo) I suspect bite marks from another fish. You will likely not see the actual bites happen because they are over in a split second and then, while you are watching the tank, the aggressor will focus on you, and stop biting. Watch for "false rushes", where a fish will shy away from another one, but with no contact. One trick is to leave your phone on the tank, running a video, then leave the room. Reviewing the video might tell you who the culprit is - but clownfish will often do this.
