Anyone have ideas? Dont think its ich. Only fish showing signs. Been over a week. No flashing and eating fine. Some of the specks appear white.

Best pics I could get.

I do but its not set up. Thats what i was thinking. I am going to dose Mardel and see if that shows any results. I think i would probably have an issue catching him anyway let alone all the others.

Are you speaking of Mardel's Coppersafe product? @HotRocks has documented that Coppersafe's strength has varied quite a bit from bottle to bottle. We've been recommending Copper Power (the blue bottle is for saltwater tanks) as it is spot on with the dosing strength. Therapeutic level is 1.5 ppm - 2.0 ppm. The 2.5 ppm listed on the bottle is for extreme cases and should be only used in those cases as internal damage to the fish increases above the therapeutic levels.

It’s odd but velvet insertion points present a lot like black ich early on before the mucous can turn the “holes” white.

Those spots are too numerous to be black ich, I agree.

No Mardel Paraguard.

So after 4 Days and 2 treatments of 20ml each. It seems to be disappearing and no other fish show any signs. The Tang that was infected is getting color back and is still eating like a champ. Maybe just lucky but keeping my fingers crossed.

Going to do 2 more doses tomorrow and saturday.

Mardel parashield?

Either way I will be extremely surprised if this erradicates parasite.

There is no "reef safe" product that will effectively erradicate parasites completely.

It may help for the time being or aid in "ich management"

Yes Parashield.

Well he is all cleared up it seems for the moment. I did the last dose at 50% (10ml) and will do the final one the same.

We shall see if it reappears. No coral effects that I have noticed and I even added 5 frags from WWC Coral Club. All looks good but keeping fingers crossed.
