Hi reefers

I have a salarias ramosus . Since 2 days he is changing behaviour and lost apetite .
He is hanging near flow pump's and whenever he swim's it like very fast movements and scraping his body agains stone's
I Do mention that i have recent alot of copepods i thought he was anoyed beqouse of this but doesnt look like it anymore .

I have also pair of clown's and i dont see any strange behaviour from them but they are only for 8 days in the system now .
I think something came with them ?

Is there a reef safe drug that i coul dose for this ? That would help cure diversity of decieces . Since i have no idea what he has . Ich is hard to see since he is white spotted naturaly . And i dont see that on the clown's

Maybe fluke's ?

I do my best to get a picture of him .

Thanks in advance .

Prazipro is reef safe (with oxygenation - though many different ways). it seems like it could be flukes, However, the symptoms suggest something like velvet. If you haven't QTd your fish I would consider doing that protocol (with copper and prazipro). Watch your other fish carefully - for any signs of illness. It may help for you to send a video under white light of the fish - and your tank in general. Hope this helps

It does seems that i cant get my hands on that product in belgium. Are there any other possibilities ?
Or do you have a specific brand maybe i can look that up .

Esha is a big brand for medication here i can get that everywhere if needed .

Thx

Before applying any medication, please post a you tube for best assessment

Its very hard to film or picture him , this is the best i could make of it .

Clowns are showing normal behaviour and doest seem off or something .

I don't see anything obvious in the videos you sent (except the darting swimming).

Yeah , i dont see any spots also , only the fast darting , scraping , hanging near flow , losing weight fast and no apetite . Combined with hiding stressy behaviour .
Al the things he did not do before.

Generally speaking - we recommend treating all fish with 30 days copper and 2 doses of prazipro 8 days apart (In a QT tank) - which is why I suggested if you haven't done so already - you could do this procedure with the fish (all the fish) - or you can continue to observe. the fish is young. With regards to medication - I might ask your LFS what they have available. Disease treatments are often most effective in a hospital/QT tank.

PS - Oodinex is methylene blue - which I would not feel is a good choice here

Honestly - the issue about product availability is a difficult one. I might show the video to the LFS there - and see what products they have in stock that they would recommend. Generally speaking - some of the products that are 'gentler', 'reef-safe' tend not to be as effective when there is a problem - but may be more useful for prevention

Okido , thanks for al the help .
I look into setup up a QT tank since my system is not yet stocked fully yet.

I would not like to have anymore **** in the tank anymore xd

Coming from freshwater i found it sad that there isnt more captive breeding availeable .
I think wild catch is the big problem here in getting these parasite's

Al that stress and moving is awfull for defensive system i guess .
