How can I get this guy to eat. I feel like I'm overfeed the tank but I never see this guy eat? It seems like when I feed the tank he gets scared and hides and I'll drop food by him and watch for him to eat but I never seen him eat it. I'll see him swimming and picking at rocks. I just don't see anything on the rocks. What can I do? I tried garlic soaking. Everything!!

Try slipping an algae clip, with nori in it, down into the rocks. Bristle tooth tangs like to graze the rocks. Sometimes they have to be trained to eat in other places. You can also try small algae pellets, like seaweed extreme by Hikari, and sprinkle them over the rocks.
Is the fish's belly sunk in?

I was also able to get mine to eat Hikari sinking mini algae wafers. He would not eat them until I left the room. He took to those much faster than nori. I had to strap the nori to a rock on the bottom, he would not eat from the clip on the glass.

No he seems like his belly is fine. Not as fat as I'd like but it seems fine. Yeah he won't eat off my clip like the other tangs will in my tank. I'll try the nori on the rock. It's just a pain in my butt because my hermits love to climb all over the nori on the rocks
