Hello all I have just got back into saltwater fish in February and I have started a 24 gallon nanocube. Well when I setup up my tank I did an impulse buy and bought a spotted mandarin male that I saw at the fish store. Well Luckily within two days of getting him he started eating frozen mysis and now he will eat anything I have in the tank. I have for a cleanup crew 4 nassarius snails 3 cerith 4 margarita and two turbo snails. I also have 2 blue legged hermits and 3 zebra hermits with him in the tank. Now my question is would a Potters angel be an ok tankmate with him? Also I plan on getting maybe a female for him and/or a seahorse. But i seen a yasha goby at the LFS and wonder is he would be an ok tankmate? And I feed the mandarin 4-5 times a day variety between bloodworms, spirulina brine and mysis all frozen is that enough variation? anything else I could feed him?

Welcome to reef2reef !!!
Your tank is too small for a angel
Sea horses need a dedicated tank and don’t do well with others. Tons Pods should be in the tank to prevent starvation, it’s good that’s your feeding it 4-5 times a day but it’s still the minimum.

I don't see why not just make sure they have lots of algae to eat they are omnivores.
And welcome to R2R. a lot of new people have joined lately.

Not sure where you got that info but that’s wrong. They don’t eat algae
