Hi guys. I bought a puffer fish a few weeks ago and today I clipped it's teeth for the first time. I have been feeding him clams on a half shell and mysis shrimp. What else can I feed him? He wont eat snails (I have nassarius and astrea snails in there but he won't touch them. Any ideas?

Krill would probably be better suited than mysis depending on his size. Crabs would also be good. Both would trim down his teeth as well so you wouldn't have to worry about that either.

Spotted puffers are carnivores so any meaty foods will do, and in saltwater aquaria I wouldnt worry too much about filing the teeth down as there are enough surfaces they can manage themselves, it is much more important in freshwater as there are less options for them to take care of it.
