So I live in Texas where things get really hot in the summer. We also have a pool and one of the ways to keep your pool cooler in the summer is to set up a spray bar. It can really help keep your pool much cooler...has to do with evaporation of the water. I was thinking about this the other day and it got me started thinking if this would work in the reefing world too. Maybe have the pump controlled by a controller to come on when the temp goes above x degrees. The downsides I can think of would be noise, evaporation and salt creep/splash. Any thoughts?

Never thought about this for reefing but when I was really into reptiles and amphibians I used them on my frog tanks, but more for humidity and natural feel than cooling. I suppose it could work but haven't tried it
