I live in an apartment. I was just told that on Wednesday of this week the building will be spray foam insulated, but the only entry into the attic is in my bedroom. To complete the entire building should take all day. The problem is the attic entry is about 4 feet from my 30G (Fish only) tank. What should I do?
I also don't have any floor space/furniture where I can move the tank further from the work area.

-I have already mixed enough water for a 25% water change once they are done
-I was going to place more new carbon on power filter the morning of
-turn off air intake on skimmer
-cover tank with dense blanket

Is their anything els I should do?

You may want to use plastic drop sheet instead of blanket and have it propped up off the top with an opening on the opposite side of Attic entrance for air exchange. I would also keep the lights off for the day. I would also take the day off and be there.

Thank y'all for the suggestions, I was unable to get off work to be there. But My wife will be there all day. I turn off the light, placed a thick beach towel across any openings, and placed new carbon in last night. I also made sure to place my thermometer in a place my wife can see. Hope me luck!
As of now I am most concerned about the lingering fumes.

Today is Thursday and it appears the install had no effect (besides my blue legged hermit crab molting), I haven't ever seen him do that.
Thank you all for your suggestions.
