Spread Hydra 52

Hi,

My tank is 61x28x24 (inch). My question is around the spreadg of the Hydra 52 Led, as I don't wan't it to be placed high above the tank.
an I calculate the spread, based on the amonut of space between water level and LED ? E.g. How do know if I place e.g. the Hydra 52 4 inch above the water level if I need 2 or 3 ? I guess 2 can fit if I place them in the length of the tank, i I need 3, I will have to rotate them 90 degrees.

I would go with three, their spread isn't going to be all that much since they use narrower optics.

I learned that the Hydra 52 has 80 degrees lenses. I can calculate the spread being 40 degrees per side until the water level.
Questions I still have:
- Should I use the middle as starting point, or can I use te side led as startin point
- How does the spread change below the water level, can I just extrapolate ?
