During a water change I noticed a few of these tube like creatures on a corner rock. I didn't think much of them until I discovered they are now spreading like crazy. Can someone help me identify if this is something to worry about?

There's no getting rid of them. I've tried manually crushing to the base with needle nose pliers, dosing calcium carbonate as a flocculent to reduce particulates, aggressive mechanical filtration, nothing works. Way too many to glue, I've just given up.

I've heard bumblebee snails may eat them but I think its hit or miss.
