BUBBLE ALGAE WILL SPREAD IF YOU POP IT --- IS A MYTH.... who ever started that needs to be drawn and qtred.. SOOOO MANY PEOPLE BELIEVE THIS.. jump 29:00 and hear this for yourself...

Yep! What CAN happen is if it's popped and the bubble's "skin" isn't removed, it can regrow in the same spot... I think this, coupled with cases where there was already going to be more BA popping up (no pun intended) in other places, helps reinforce the myth.

Yep, and I would advocate that everyone watch the whole video, some of the best information on reef tank algae I have ever seen. I believe it should be a sticky thread in this forum!
