Watching videos and seeing spring clamps being used a variety of ways for help with tasks. For example, helping stabilize siphon tubing. I've seen nylon and plastic ones online, but don't have any idea as to what sizes would be best? Can anyone recommend types, sizes, brands and where to buy, please?

Don't get any with exposed metal on them, it will rust in a heartbeat and could cause issues in the tank if left in the sump or somewhere else accidentally. I guess size depends on your glass thickness and such and also what you plan on holding with them.

I bought a box of different sizes and was so excited to have something to clamp hoses and such down when doing water changes. Then I punctured my python hose and I’m not so excited. I bought nylon ones that have some gripping teeth inside the clamp.:( Make sure you get ones without the teeth. I didn’t realize until it was too late. And yes, the springs do rust over time
