Ectoplasm rhodactis shroom (circled lower left) 3/4 - 1" in size, WYSIWYG, $15 paid CTARS member, $20 non-members. Will frag with picture once interest is expressed.


1/2 full commercial bag of Red Sea Reef Salt. Kept in a sealed bucket for moisture protection. $15.


No-name baby rhodactis shroom. WYSIWYG, 3/4 - 1" diameter. Mama for comparison. I will frag once interest is expressed with a picture. $10 paid CTARS members, $15 non-members.

Hi maybe I can help explain things a bit for you if your concern with the baby purple rain Yuma Mike had offered it to SAS before you even got on the thread. If you're referring to the mushroom that Mike talked to me about this is something that I had talked to Mike about two months ago . He touched base with me and I told him yes I still would like it. Mike is a stand-up guy and I'm sure the longer you're in the club you'll see that for yourself. Hey we all understand that it is disappointing when you want a frag and don't get itthat baby purple um was pretty cool

You're just proving my point. If it was a deal brokered beyond the thread then you should be able to see my point about using pm instead. Additionally, you rushing to Mike's defense shows how I am not part of the clique, just a member. Lastly, I am not that concerned with not not getting any coral, just don't like having to get trickled down information.

You made a post and asked for a pic of the baby. You didn't say you "wanted" it. If someone else PMed him between then and you posting "Is that the pic of the baby if so I'll take it!" then it is what it is.

I've sent PM's to people on this forum prior to others posting publicly in the post saying they'll buy it yet the pieces went to the other people. Does it suck? Sure. Does it really matter that people prefer sometimes to sell to others that they already know? Absolutely not. It's not being in a clique.

Continually having to defend my words to multiple people is proving how cliquey this club really is. Thanks for supporting my argument. Yes, selectively choosing to sell to friends first would be well suited for the definition of cliquey. To clarify, what makes it the worst, is not updating the post as items are sold. Ever contact someone on Craigslist only to find out they never removed the post? Irritating right? Also, I never said I was first or entitled to any of what is for sale. But if I am not eligible because I am not part of the well known group of friends within CTARS, then that hurts the team. If it is purely because it was sold to the first bidder, then saying "sold" really helps assure people that this isn't just a forum for the few. Regardless, I still enjoy reading posts and I am glad there is a local community to begin with.

Full disclosure. I was told the club was cliquey before I joined and have been viewing it with somewhat of a biased skepticism. I think I was looking for an excuse to feel disenfranchised as some kind of demented self fulfilling prophesy. I'll try to be less cynical going forward.
