Hey guys. About ago month ago I noticed one of my bangaii cardinals had eggs in its mouth so I figured we would try and raise them. I now have 10 that hatched on the 29th of march that are growing like weeds. A few weeks ago we got some dwarf seahorses and have a few fry from them. A few minutes ago I noticed my clowns have laid a clutch of eggs as well. Guess I'd better start culturing rotifers as well!

Here are a couple of very bad pictures I took with my tablet. I need to get the good camera out.

Wow, something is definitely in the air over your way!!! Everything you got is spawning. You and your wife expecting as well? lol

I had been noticing it looked like the berghia eggs may have hatched and I could see white lines crawling on the back wall. I wasn't sure if they were berghia or just some type of worm. Today when I got home I noticed 4 or 5 next to an aiptasia on the front wall. After about 30 minutes I looked again and there was a swarm around it! I got out my camera with extension tubes and they are definitely baby berghia. The one to the right looks quite a bit larger than the rest. I also took some pictures of the bangaii and the clownfish eggs. This is the second batch for the clownfish. They ate the first one.

I'd love to purchase a pair of tiny cardinals when they are ready, please keep me updated!
They are a month old today and growing very fast. I'm gonna let them grow some more and get them eating something besides live artemia nauplii and then I guess I'll sell some of them at least. I'll put you first on the list.

Well it has been 8 days since the clown fish layer the eggs and I am hoping they hatch tonight. I have a tank set up and plenty of rotifers so hopefully I'm ready. I'll keep everyone posted and hopefully have some baby pictures by tomorrow.

A little update. The Cardinals are all doing well still. The clown fish that hatched the first time mostly died off overnight the first night. I had 4 live for about 5 days and then died when I did a water change.
The second batch I moved the rock they were on to the fry tank and let them hatch in there. So far I have only lost a couple. I am not claiming success yet obviously but I'm doing better than last time. ;)

An update on the clowns. I have probably 30-40 left of the ones hatched on the 15th and they are looking more and more like fish and less like blobs every day. Some are eating baby brine shrimp along with the rotifers. I also have another batch of eggs due to hatch tomorrow or Thursday night. I didn't see them until last Wednesday but they could have been layed on Tuesday and I missed them.

Baby Ray, the DSH tank is "half cube" tank I won at a frag swap several years ago. I think it figured up to be around 13 gal. It has been doing well but for some reason I had a cyano outbreak last week and it looks pretty rough. I'm working on clearing that up.

The third batch of clownfish eggs hatched last night. There are a bunch of them and they seem to be doing very well. Here is a picture of one of them. The second picture is of the last batch that is 12 days old. The third picture is of one of the bangaii.

The 12 day old fry are starting to swim like normal clownfish and some of them have their first stripe.

Almost all of the first batch of clowns have stripes now but a few still don't. I think several are taking after their mother and have the middle bar where it doesn't meet in the middle. One of them has had a full middle stripe for several days but several only have partial stripes. I'm not sure if the stripe just hasn't developed fully yet or if they will stay that way.
