Okay, new one for me. I ordered a Springeri Damsel and got 2 of them in the order when it was delivered, just now.

I have 3 pajama cardinalfish, 2 Clowns and a watchman goby.

What would you do? Will 2 damsels be okay? Should I try to figure out what to do with one of them?

Tank is almost a year old and farely stable.

Those types of damsels should be fine together.

Lets hope. I am out of town so my wife is dealing with these fish for me. I was quite surprised when she said there was 2 of them. I had to double check my order

What's the tank size?

My experience with damsel pairs is that if you get a male/female pair it works, but otherwise not.

Springari have never been an issue for me in pairs. I've QT'd two pairs together. One set of them, which I assume was male and female hung out together. The other set kept to themselves.

So it's still early (they have only been in since Saturday) but I have one of the Damsels that hangs out with my other fish (all three of the cardinalfish and both clowns all get along aside from one cardinalfish tends to pick on one of the others at times and normal clownfish behavior) and one has decided to "hide" under my in tank overflow box.

When wife and daughter first put them in (I was out of town), the Damsels pretty much did just as described above. One started swimming right away with the other fish and the other hid. It took them a long while to find the one that was hiding (almost in plane sight :)) so they named it Waldo. The other is now named Bogo, as silly as it is, for Buy One Get One.
