I was wondering if any one has experimented with using a sprinkler auto shut off for an RODI system. From the looks of them you can set them to run for a certain amount of time, and then it will close the valve once the time limit expires.

I was thinking of getting the float shut off system, but doesnt that just close one side of the system? The waste water would continue to run?

Thanks for reading

With most float shut off systems you also get an auto-shutoff solenoid, which prevents water from going to the RODI system (and subsequent waste water). I can't see why a sprinkler timer wouldn't work though.
