Hello all, I recently programmed my XR30 Gen 3 Pro to run the SPS AB+ mode. I'm still getting used to the blue spectrum but I'm finding that the photoperiod is incredibly short for display viewing purposes.

Has anybody tweaked the SPS AB+ program to increase their viewing time? If so what is needed to run a lunar cycle? Will tacking on a few hours of lighting be significantly detrimental to the optimal effects that this program produces?

Good question.
I've got it running but the tank is still empty. I too was surprised at the amount of blue, which seems counter intuitive to growth.
I wouldn't think extending the viewing time would hurt.

It's almost funny looking at the channel settings. 100% across the blues/UV then 24% for RGW channels. There's no doubt it appears to mimic the 80-20% Blue Plus/AquaBlue Special bulb combo. Anyway I think I will play with the programming a little and see what I can come up with.

I guess what I'm curious about is how to achieve lunar lighting with this program. Say my light cycle goes from 12-9 PM, The ending point will be set at 0% with lunar lights enabled but no light will be emitted. I know previously when running the Radiant Color program it seemed to dip down at the end of the period but it continued on after that until 11PM or so which would've been the lunar cycle. I attempted to set it up on the SPS AB+ cycle but it recognized 11PM as the end of the main light cycle.
