So I just went down to my buddy's house and got a bunch of SPS frags. He keeps his SPS between 300 and 350 par. My drive home was 45 minutes with the frags. My question is do I really have to acclimate them all over again Up to 300 par or can I just put them in 300 par like they were in? They are coming from led's going into a tank with led's?

I wouldn't worry about. I do that all the time even with overnight shipped frags.

The only thing I have ever acclimated my acropora for is temperature. If a coral came in stressed I would keep it in lower par for a while but tank to tank like that should not involve any dramatic acclimation. People ask questions about acclimating for alk and nutrient levels and such which doesn’t need to happen either. I have never seen an acro die or stress because of a difference in tank conditions, as long as it was floated for temperature. If it came from a very low par tank I would obviously not throw it directly under a halide though I have never bought anything that was in “low par”. I assume people using a large amount of led fixtures over their tanks may need to acclimate new corals to the strong light but that’s rare ime.
Anyways OP your tank conditions are the same as the tank it came from so technically there is nothing to acclimate to if your talking par. Any coral I have grabbed locally I float for 15 min for temperature and put them in their new spot.

There is nothing to worry about. You should be fine. Enjoy your new sticks!

It's more of an issue if it's a big jump up in par when place in your tank or If the spectrum Is very different (since things like large amounts of blue have a higher relative photosynthetic impact compared to a more spread out spectra and this the par value isn't giving a full image)

I never acclimate any coral. I just stick them where I think they look good and the par is close to what they should be getting.

I also agree, it should be fine.
