hello guys, what is the best t5 actinic and purple tubes with highest PAR and duration?(kz, ati or giesemann?).
In a sps reef tank (47'x19'x19') this combination is good for the beautiful colors of sps?:
3 blu plus, 2 actinic, 1 purple, 2 aquablue special

I hope in your advice. thanks you all

In PAR there will not be that much in Actinic best color I like in T5 for Actinic is the ATI in Purple either KZ Or ATI. The combo looks good it will be like 14k with a little pink in it

Why do not many people use actinic for sps? What is the best combination for sps? What would you recommend me?

Well comparing in PAR Actinic to Blue plus in ATI Blue Plus has a higher PAR reading. Thats why people use more Blue then actinic. I love starting my lighting with one actinic and one Blue plus. The combo you ask is a good combination for growth and color. If you like more color then growth go 4 Blue plus 2 actinic and 2 coral plus

Ok; But with these combinations (with 2 attinic) do I have a PAR enough for my sps? (Use 8 x 54 ati sunpower)

Yes you will always have good PAR with T5 the more white bulbs you put in the combo the more PAR you have

But what role do white tubes have? Actually i use 4 blu plus 1 Actinic 1 purple and 2 special. The combination with 2 actinc better than the current one? Where do i see reef with sps with many actinic?

White tubes like the coral plus and aqua blue special are the bulbs use to get a full spectrum these are the bulbs with higher PAR. People like showing more there tanks under actinics cause the corals glow. But you dont get to see the real colors. What fixture you have

actually i use 4 blu plus 1 Actinic 1 purple and 2 special.
If I change, and do I mix the two attinics I can benefit? What will my sps improve?
Or is it better to keep the current combination with more par?

It will all depend your Fixture. Bulb placement. What fixture you have.
For example my ATI 6 bulb Fixture has 2 T5 in one power cord and 4 T5 on the other cord. My lighting starts at 12:00 pm with One Actinic bulb front of the tank and a Blue plus at the back. At 4:00pm the rest of the bulbs kick in were I have 2 Coral Plus and 2 Blue Plus. Then at 8:00 they shut off and the Actinic and Blue plus keep on till 11:00 pm thats my lighting cycle. You could keep your combination all you have to know is the bulb placment to get the best color.

i have 8x54 ati sunpower. my actually combination in not bad, but I would like to have a darker light with more pop, similar to the radium 20000k..
Can you post a picture of your reef?

Use 2 Coral plus instead of the aquablu special and change the purple plus for an actinic
That should give a 20k look

How many bulbs are in each power cord

two power cord:
1,2,4,5,7,8 (position neon)
3-6 (position)

if i change the purple plus with actinic, i lose a pink colors?

Your bulb combo should be

Front of tank
1-Actinic
2-Blue plus
3-Actinic
4-Coral plus
5-Blue plus
6- Blue plus
7-Coral Plus
8-Blue plus

Wont loose the pink as the Coral plus is a full spectrum bulb it has all the colors in it

I would like to have a light (deep blue) like the radium 20000k with many fluorescents.

This order?

Front of tank
1-blu plus
2-Coral
3-Actinic
4-Blu plus
5-Blue plus
6- actinic
7-Coral Plus
8-Blue plus

It wil be the same spectrum the only thing with your layout of bulbs you will have 2 actinic lighting up first for a more purple look not the best IMO
