Hello, I have a densely stocked 20 gallon SPS tank. It's mostly occupied by Acropora and Montipora, although I do have a few Stylo and Poci. The frags are beginning to turn into mini colonies, so eventually some will be bound to touch, at the very least, at the bases. It appears that the stylo and poci grow 2-3x faster than the Acropora. My question is whether a stylo or poci would win against an Acropora in coral warfare? The Acropora I currently have are mainly variants of stag, torts, mille, and valida. Thank you.

MBP&S nearly always win... not always, but most of the time. This is one of the reasons, along with the super-quick growth rate, that people ban these from their tanks.
I have two Stylos and the flowing polyps sting and kill the tips of the Acro's they touch
Thanks for the input guys! I'll have to just manually trim the branches to prevent any contact. I guess eventually they'll have to touch at the base. I'll let nature take its course and see what'll happen in that situation!
