Hi All,

I have 4 x 80 watt T5 ATI LED Powermodule. I am running 2 x Blue+ and 2 x Coral+. I generally run my LEDs very blue (blue, royal blue and violet with white at 50%) to increase some of the pop..

My Acros and just about eveything else seem to be growing and healthy but I'm not all that happy with the look. I can't really put my finger on it. I generally don't mess around with the lighting but I think it's time to make some adjustments.

I'm wondering how you SPS nuts might be running similar fixtures and what bulbs and approaches you are using to get the look you like?

I run 2Blue+, 1Purple+ & 1 Geissemann Tropic with LEDs at 80% all channels with my power module. I’m very happy with the growth and love what the warmer hues does for the acros and my fish.

I will try to get a shot of my profile for you tomorrow, I have a 4x39watt and 2x75watt led unit. I run 2 blue plus and 2 coral plus also.
I tried to make a copy of the ecotech sps+ program. I run whits at 25 percent and the others near 100%. I actually have it at 70-to-80% intensity. This shot of my tank is from about 2 months ago

What it is that you do not like? I know that you cannot put your finger on it, but any slight indications? Are there any tanks that you like the look of in the photos?

If you want it more of a daylight look, then that is a different suggestion than if you want it bluer. ...or more coral pop, etc. Does it just look too sterlie to you?

Mine makes the corals look natural when the T5 are on, but there is no candy shop effect you get with radions for example. When it's just LEDs there is 'that' look but not as pronounced as when I had radions.

Hi JDA. Maybe sterile is the word. At peak the tank is a very, very cool white to my eyes. I though that with the blue plus it might be more 'lagoon' like with soft or light blue.

Not sure if this is related but greens in some of my corals seem to change gold or orangey gold. Not complaining about this. I now have a 24ct acan [emoji23].

Thanks for the feedback everyone

Take out the coral plus and see how it looks. Didn’t care for mine so off they went. The cp bulbs that is.

maybe you can try led full violet and royal blue and half blue

0% white because you have coral +

or

try blue + *4 or blue + *2 actinic * 2

led with full violet . royal blue half blue

and white maybe 20% or 30% decide by you

i like this setting and enjoy when the light without white
