SPS and Mp40's

How far from your vortech pumps are your sps? I have Acropora and they are like 10 inches from the mp40 direct line of sight is this too much flow for sps or too close ? I keep them dialed in around a third power either on ReefCrest or lagoon try to keep it off the blue or green too much too consistant as far as flow goes . my tank is a 4x2x2 120 gallon tank with 3 mp 40's two opposing off the top and one on the right side mid tank ....any intel is appreciated..

The beautiful thing about the Vortech pumps is their wide spread flow. While three Mp40's may be a lot for a 120, my experience leads me to believe SPS love the higher flow. I'm running two MP60's on our 265G maxing out around 75%. The closest acros are approximately six inches away but three-four inches below the wet side of the Vortech's. The LPS seem to have gotten accustomed to the higher flow and everything looks great.
