does anybody have luck with it
it seem my sps are all going blue on me under t5
when i had mh colors where wow
i am running an 8 bulb tek fixure
with 3 12k bulbs one fujii purple
and 4 blue plus i like the look of the bulbs just seems that all the corals are turn more blue?

There are plenty of folks who have gorgeous SPS dominated tanks with T5's only. Both halides and T5's can grow SPS obviously. T5's have worked really well for me. I run a 12 bulb fixture over my 150g deep and grow SPS anywhere I want.

My bulb combo is (f-to-b)
1)Super Actinic
2)Blue+
3)AquaBlue Special
4)Blue +
5)Fiji Purple
6)AB Special
7)Blue +
8)AB Special
9)Blue +
10) AB Special
11)Blue+
12)Super Actinic

My SPS have held color without a problem. Is the issue that your corals are turning blue or that they have a blue hue to them under the lighting?

turning blue i had one that was bright green under my mh and now its blue under t5
only thing i have changed is the lights

I know a guy who only runs T5's and has about 6 tanks with every type of coral in them. his SPS are gorgeous too. The great thing about T5's is being able to cheaply test with different color bulbs.

If I have a 58g tank and want to run only t5's and I plan to have sps and lps, and random softs how many t5's do you think I need?
