Hey everyone,

I got Radions recently and would love to try out some of you SPS lovers programs. I have 2x units running 8 inches over a 75 Gal.

Anyone willing to share their programs and their setup they are running it over.

Thanks!

Wow. I have a 66gallon with my gen3pro hanging about 15" off of my tank but havnt put any acros in it yet...is that too high? Only asking since u said urs is only 8inches above the water. Mine is also set on raiant setting which seemed to be the general consensus when I inquired which setting to put it on from the other reefers out there. Nobody was too specific about height tho

Thats how I can squeeze em in my canopy :)

I wanted to hang from the ceiling but my wife says no way haha.

Yea she was probably right tho. I had mine hanging from the ceiling and it looked kinda janky. I made a hanger that attaches to the back of my stand out or copper tubing and it turned out pretty sweet

email our vendor battlecorals, i am using his schedule..also picked up a nice pack from him.
He had a led pack, the same pack he grew under his radion's

When I had radions I ran the high growth program and had great results.

i have 2 3rd gen pros on my 75 i also use the coral radiance schedule, however i tweaked it for a more actinic look while still utilizing the green and red spectrums. colors are intense as can be but it has come at the cost of speed of growth but to ally worth it if you ask me.

How high off your tank and at what intensity if you don't mind me asking?

i have them mounted with the new RMS i wanna say 9-10 inches off the glass and i run them at 100%. and by the way the new mounts are really great i would def suggest picking them up. i am currently running the standard lenses as well.

Radiant Color at 55%, 8" over the water surface, 10AM to 9PM. There are SPS frags growing just fine in the substrate 28 inches below.

I found anything over 65% for my size tank started to cause some burn.

Nicest results I ever saw using radion is at an LFS, about 12-15 units over 3 tanks. I estimate around 20" off the water. Back in the day I cooked my corals at anything lower than 15" off the water. My tank only stopped bleaching when I finally raised it quite high. Growth in and color of my SPS were good.

I'm around 13" above water around 65%. I still think I can increase the intensity another 5-10% but I'm taking my time. 3 G2 pros over a 52" long tank. 19" deep...

I know this thread is a bit old but, can someone help me understand where these programs are available at? I am new to reefing in general and definitely to LED lighting! I have the XR30 Gen3. (not a Pro unit)

Let me clarify, I have found the "presets" in ESL for a specific point, but nothing as far as a pre-built "lighting curve" for an entire day. Does that exist from Eco-Tech or just from folks sharing their personally created days?
