I have one sps and today it appears that the lower portion is turning white. The polyps are still out it is just loosing color. Does this indicate too much light? I have been working on getting my LED light to the right setting. Could I have turned it too high too fast?

sounds like base-up stn.
this could be alk related but can be ruled out if your birdsnest is doing well.

i had this happen to a tenuis colony and is currently happening to a milli colony.

if it continues to lose tissue, you can try to save the coral by fragging what you can, but make sure that is what it is first.
