Hi there,

Wondering if I could get some help here. I have a few Monti Caps, and encrusting Montis. All of which are starting to brown a bit. I also have a bunch of lps corals, all of which are doing pretty well. I believe my water quality is good, as I also have an orange sponge in there that seems to be doing great. I have the ecotech radion on there, and I am starting to wonder if they are not getting enough light. The Radion maxes out at about 70% intensity. I also have a 3/4 inch custom glass top that I am suspecting is filtering out light. Im reluctant to turn up the intensity, as I have some pretty expensive chalices and other corals that I dont want to burn up. All of my SPS is mid tank and up. Any ideas?

Thanks in advance.

My mistake, the top is only 1/4 inch thick over a 60 gallon rimless, 24x24x24

Thanks

how long are is your light on for ,what k rating also what are your water test results. why do you have the glass top on?

What are your paramiters? Phosphate levels? and get rid of the glass top if you can, it does nothing good for the tank. It will keep the tank from cooling properly, it will keep getting dirty from salt and not let light through properly.
