Hi all , I was looking through my old photos and I just realized my spatulata changed color compared to the first day I just got it. And also I realized, my sps polyps do not extend even at night. Any idea why?

Parameters below

Nitrate: 5 or less using nyos testkit
Phosphate: 0.05ppm using Hanna phosphorous
Dkh: 6.7-7.8
Calcium:420
Magnesium:1300
Salinity : 1.026
Using AF probiotic salt. 10% weekly changes
Dosing np pro and pro bios 3 drops daily.
67gallons tank, 3by1.5by2 ft.
Using rowaphos and rowacarbon

Hope you guys have any ideas why. Cheers and thanks in advance!

Using atix8 tubes. Here's a fts for rough gauge. The fixture is 8 inches above the water. Kinda reluctant to show a fts because of the ugly scape

how old is that FTS?

The spath looks much more bleached in the close up compared to that one. How long has the tank been setup, looks pretty new?

How are the other two big SPS pieces? are these all wild or maricultured?

well that sps looks like a spathulata sp, they are notoriously difficult to keep the color they come in as. Is it the only one that doesnt have polyp extension? I ask cause i see a flame angel and most pygmey angel species are know to be coral nippers. If the coral gets picked on enough it wont open day or night

The fts is just last week. The other 2 big pieces are doing fine, although no polyp extension. Colors are still where they should be. Not sure if they are wild or mariciltured though..

Got a friend that said it's most probably from the flame angel as well. If my parameters are off, my corals would be dead since it's been quite awhile already.

Just wanna get to know in depth first before letting the flame angel go

Lower the lighting. Did u move your corals, they love flow

I started using the Red Sea reef energy a&b and my corals polyp extension has been like night and day
