SPS & clean up crew

I've had a mini army of blue legs in my old sps tank, never bother anything. They can be cliff climbers though and sleep in the acros when they turn into mini colonies

I do not keep hermits, because I do not keep hermits I have a lot of Stomatella (hermits eat baby/young stomatella ime). I also use Cerith and Astraea. Ninety percent of what I keep is sps.

Banded trochus are money well spent they are excellent algae eaters and can rite themselves when knocked down or fall. I have kept all sorts of cleanup crew And in my experience turbos die off and knock things over all the time. Blue legs will kill your snails when hungry or just aquire a taste for them. Just my experience but I'll never use anything but Trochus snails in any of my tanks or future tanks I have some that are 2 years old and golf ball size and they readily reproduce in most conditions giving you a non-stop supply of cleanup crew. And I use cleaner and blood shrimp to pick the rocks and fish clean .
