Crappy photo quality it’s pink mili what I bought it as picture is with the blues off it’s some what pink/ kinda brown great polyp extension. Anyone use the Red Sea colors program with results

Alk 9.5
Ca 400
Phos undetectable
Nitrate undetectable
Light on 9 am to 9 pm

I just started them a month ago and have been very happy with the results. Although I also keep nitrates above 8 and phosphates in the 0.04 range. Everything is growing like gangbusters and colors are coming out of the wood works. I'd get that calcium up a tad though.

I’ll have to see how I can get them up I have a decent size fuge. Light cycle on opposite of display. 50 gallon total volume feed 2x a week frozen food and 3-4 days when I remember of spectrum food and coral frenzy. 5 gallon water change weekly. Usually have ca at 480. Last 2 weeks been a hassle getting the doser on point. Last few days seems like its stable dosing 42 ml brs 2 part daily.

Also forgot to ask do you to water changes. Since starting to use Red Sea? Debating if I should stop doing water changes until the Red Sea bottles run out. Unless something spikes.

I've found water changes to still be very helpful, the corals just do better imo after the water change. I do about 30 gallons in a 120 total water volume every 2 weeks or so. But I run carbon as well, so part of it is just nutrient dilution since I feed pellets 4x a day and frozen at least once. Heavy nutrients in, heavy nutrients out and I struggle to keep phosphates detectable at all. I probably have more nuisance algae than I'd like, but nothing a little elbow grease can't take care of. I think if you were to do some icp testing you could look at lowering the water change frequency, but I'm still not comfortable pulling the plug on that routine.

I might experiment with doing a water change every or 3 -4weeks or only run the skimmer half day. Overflow 3 baffle sump 1st chamber overflow pipes/skimmer 2nd chamber fuge 3rd is the return pump. 2x 2100 gallon power head and a fluval sp6 head height is probably 3 ft. With about 80 pounds total live rock
