SPS corals are (generally) harder to keep because lighting, flow, and tank stability (Alk, etc). Given these requirements are meet, in theory, can one try (obviously yes, but are there any other worries)?

Do LPS coral consume less Alk and other trace elements than SPS? Or does SPS consume at how much of a greater rate than LPS?

Correct me if I’m wrong please. When adding fish, we go slow, to allow tank to adjust to bioload. When adding coral, we test and adjust Alk (etc) accordingly. So in theory, whatever amount of coral we add, we adjust accordingly to trace element reductions (?).

So does it matter how many coral we add at one time?

Does it matter if we add LPS and SPS at same time or within weeks of each other?

We have to test and adjust accordingly regardless, right?

And if lighting and flow is sufficient for SPS, with good tank placement, LPS will be okay?

Sorry for all the questions. Thank you for any suggestions and advice.

Sticks(acros) will drink ALK when bigger, Lps do but will be less.

So does it matter how many coral we add at one time? Not really as long as you monitor your tank and dose as needed.

Does it matter if we add LPS and SPS at same time or within weeks of each other? Doesn't matter

We have to test and adjust accordingly regardless, right? Yes keep up on your testing

And if lighting and flow is sufficient for SPS, with good tank placement, LPS will be okay? With correct placement and parameters all corals will be OK

Sorry for all the questions. Thank you for any suggestions and advice.
