Hey guys, thought we could use a thread for all those growing sps corals under hydra 26 leds. While there are plenty of examples, I thought it would be nice to list sps corals, by name (if possible) and success.

If you would like to add, please give your led settings as well, and distance from the leds.

My frags are still new to me, so things may change:
Blues peak at 100% and whites at 45%
Successful:
1-Starburts montipora (26in from lights)
2-Mystic Sunset montipora (26in from lights)
3-ASD rainbow millepora (26in from lights)

I have many more frags. They either are too new, or are recovering from bleaching to mention yet. I'll keep thread updated as I feel another becomes successful or failed.

Well, I use to run my 120 mixed reef with just two Hydra HD LEDS 26'S and I could grow Acros no problem. I think they are great lights for the price compared to Ecotech radion led fixture. My new tank I will have 2 Hydra HD 26'S on each site of the tank and one Hydra HD 52 that will be mounted in the middle. Specs being the following.- 60''x24''x24.

I have 4 HD 26's over a 4x2x2 I've been running them for close to a year now.. I run them at a basic 14k setting 13 hours a day with a 4 hour ramp period so they only get 5 hours of peak hours.. I don't play with them or change them at all.. As you can see I run a SPS dominate system and they seem to be doing great under them, although I'm still not sure if I actually like the lights myself haha

I am currently building a new 6x2x2 and have 4 hydra 26 hd for it. Will be a mostly sps tank and haven't decided for sure what settings I am going to run. I will add 4 80w t5 to it as well at some point.

I've got a Red Sea 650 with 5 Hydra 26HDs over the top. Initially, the tank came with 4 hydras. Bought an extra one for more fill to help with shadowing. My acros took off after that. Running everything at 15k with 62% intensity. Highest coral, gets 375 par. Sand still gets 250. SPS dominant

Can you share your lights settings? Would like something like this over my tank. Thanks

2 hydra26hd over 75 frag tank, 2 hydra52hd over 90 DT, both running David Saxby program, with 2 26's programmed a little brighter, SPS love it
