I got a wild colony and did not decrab it right away. I kept getting damage to my rmf Diablo milli. I started to look with a flashlight at night and caught the crab picking at coral thought it was a goner but has recovered in past week. Needless to say I got the crab out.

Last pic is it coming back it was almost dead at one point

I picked up a box from figi right after a bad storm system went through and each coral had multiple fuzzy gorilla crabs in them. It took me about 5 separate try’s to find all of them and a few did a bit of damage in a short amount of time that’s for sure. Glad you found yours before he wondered to a different coral.

He never ate at his host coral. He would travel out at night and eat at the milli. I didn’t notice him in the host coral until about a week or so after adding. Just glad the milli is coming back

Glad to see it coming back, means you're doing great. I've got a couple bites on colonies lately, but they look like my blue throat trigger took a nip!

For anyone out there with crab problems, there's an easy method to trap them (at least has worked for me a few times). Put a tall clear cup at a 45 degree angle (or steeper) and put some food in it near their home. Come back at night and they get stuck. Freezing them in the cup is the most humane way to dispatch of them.
