I bought this a while ago, like a WHILE AGO. The superglue must not have held and it fell behind my rockwork and I totally forgot about it. I don't even remember what it is. Anyways I found it today and it appears to still have some bleached polyps on it but it could also be something else growing on the dead skeleton. What do you all think?

That's too bad, I'll go ahead and put it on the frag rack and see how it does anyways

hazard a guess that is a shabby frag of Bird's nest coral. A buddy recently asked me if I still had my colony and I told him "No, it was killed in the crash."
When I was doing a water change later I found a piece or two that was in similar shape as the one you posted. I moved mine back into better light and current and they came back fairly quickly. I think yours still has a chance.

Actually I think your right, it might be a birds nest. Time will tell, I'll post pics when it dies or comes back to life!
