I found two Kessils A360x locally for $550 and I say that’s a steal! It came with k-links, controller, and the mounts. I still need to get one more but these lights have the best shimmer!

I’m still waiting for my artfully acrylic lid but I’m getting a little impatient. I’ve ordered the lid on June 20. For now, I put an egg crate on top since I have a blenny, a hawkfish, and gobies.

Yeah maybe look elsewhere! They have quality lids but their production sucks, even before Covid-19

Least you won’t ever have an issue with algae. Plus looks like there’s a ton of swimming room to me. I don’t see the big deal.

Oh yeah, they take care of my algae plus I also feed them 5-6 times per day. They get two full sheets (one at 9am and another at 6pm) of nori soaked in vitamins, selcon, and garlic, vitamin-enriched mysis, and formula 2 frozen food. I made my rocks minimalist to give them enough room to swim. I also purposely did not create hideouts so they could never establish territories so now they pretty much school all day

Is that a standard schedule 80 pvc reducer bushing connecting the 4 way to the calcium reactor shutoff valve? if so did it fit perfectly or did you apply something to keep it from leaking? Looking to build the same thing. Could you pm me the parts if possible. Thanks

Today, I added my first frags: pink lemonade and pc rainbow, to see if my tank is ready for acros! Also, I finally received my TLF Reborn calcium media so I just need to get a 10lb CO2 tank.

On a side note, I love my kessils A360x so much I’m probably going to sell my XR30 g4 pro radion/T5 fixture on the anemone tank and just add a kessil! The shimmer is truly unbelievable

Sketch is what I should have gotten, but I got this instead. I know it can be modified, but I wanted to avoid that. I emailed them on Thursday and I’m still waiting for a response.

If you have the Red Sea peninsula 500 and thinking about ordering the Artfully acrylic lid, I’d suggest going custom (see above post) instead because there’s a huge gap under the overflow and I know livestock will eventually jump out.

That’s a disappointment for sure. Mine came as per yours, plus 5mm shorter on the width. I think they had resolved the width issue in your case. They should really update and cover overflow area as per your sketch, that’s what I had them do eventually.
