SPS dominate LED users

Transitioning the last 5 months from 400-watt MH to Ocean Revive T247 fixtures. One of three is still MH if you can spot it.

Most anticlimactic transition ever. No color change, no bleaching, just corals staying the same and doing what they do. 80% white, 20% blue, unorthodox but working. I don't like overly blue tanks.

Will add T5 supplementation down the line to remove shadowing.

Cheers,

G3 with ATI supplements is what I run

What size tank is that?

Im running two reef radiance full spectrum, 4 36" ati T5 and recently added two kessils 150w to add some shimmer and fill in the shadows since they are pointing from the front corners in.

Made an aluminum bracket to attach the T5s to the LEDs. Linked the two LEDs with straight aluminum bars. Then the LEDs to the roof from their own hanging harness thing they come with

How are you hanging the leds and t5 over your tank?

Reading through all this for the ones using only leds it seems like the trick is to go with what seems to be an overpower of leds? Then adjust to what the corals like? I get the appeal of t5, but I don't like changing bulbs out every so often, so would like to stick to all leds. I've been using the eBay blackboxes, with good results, so I figure if I can grow things well under those I'd like to see what a better light can do.
