SPS - Eye Candy

A couple photos of my new Miyagi Tort Colony. I got it for about a 4th of the price it should’ve been (I’ve seen miyagis going for around £100 - $122). I bought this for £20 which is around $25.

I haven't seen this before but is an amazing idea that I'm now stealing, also allows me to get more corals in my tank

would have never thought of gluing corals to the back wall of my tank

My main reef tank is housing almost exclusively SPS coral. I made a little summary video couple days ago. Feel free to reach out if you have any questions about any of the featured corals :)

Very clean aqua scape and nice coral color selection.

I used magnets to keep it attached so it’s easy to remove but I definitely recommend it! It’s the best way to make a reef look like it’s coming out at you and not just staying on the rock. It also adds more territory for fish :)

Here’s a few more top downs of my Miyagi tort. This is certainly an under appreciated piece.

It’s the best use of all the jebao magnets that collects when the power heads stop working after one year :)

My first attempt at SPS and the only ones that will be in the tank. Got them at a LFS. The acro was $30 and the Montipora was $15. The Atomic Red Montipora you see the background I got from WWC and I forget what I paid for it. It survived a near tank crash and since I am not trying to get rid of algae with chemicals my tank has been happier so far.

(That small forest fire digitata you can see on the left hand side I got from WWC did not survive my near tank crash.)

I just want to show off my SPS corals and be like the big boys. :D
