What are your favorite feeding products for sps?

I use daily reef roids (even it is not appropriate for most sps)

Polip booster every two days / alternate with coral vitalizer to increase polip response to feeding

Brightwell Phytoplacton 2 to 8 micra twice a week

Frozen cyclops and rotifer once a week

Easy sps once a week

Easy booster every day by dozer.

Which are your favorite sps foods?

Put me down for nothing. I just feed the fish a lot... heavy import and heavy export. The most important thing to feed SPS is a lot of the best quality light.

I have used stuff over the years from DTs, reef snow, Vitamin C, zoe, selcon and the like and just like today, there are posters that swear that they cannot live without reef roids and acropower. I even though for a time that it mattered, until I quit and saw that it made no difference. It always seems that products that are prized today will be laughed at tomorrow - there was a time when Brightwell Reef Snow was just as popular as Reef Roids are today. The true test is to quit and see if you can see a difference, seeing a difference in adding something can sometimes be fools gold since just more time, tank maturity and maturity as a reefer can overlap adding something to your routine.

Totally true.

I've observed that in my tank for the health of sps it's needed a cube of frozen mysys daily so to maintain nutrient in the water column.

But as I reducd the amount of extra sps food in my tank stn always appears...

What feeding routine have you got for your fish?

I have a lot of fish. They get three meals a day through an Ehiem Auto Feeder and I also put in 4-6 cubes of something just about every day. My nitrate is undetectable, but did register about .1 on ICP test... phosphate 1-3 ppb on Hannah Phosphorous.

I do have a frag tank without any fish... no fuge on this tank... no import then no export. I do add some "mysis juice" a few times a week.

I feed LRS reef frenzy once per day. I will occasionally feed reef chili or reef roids, but not really sure why I do it? Everything in the tank seems to do well with LRS.

I only been freeding reef roids to up my Phosphates and Nitrates since it disappeares pretty fast I’m my system also started feeding a bit heavier added more fishes but I have relatively small nano fish besides my hippo tang and new potters angel to keep up with the fish poo aka coral food

I agree with this opinion. I myself used RefSea Reef Energy A and B twice/wk but plan to stop to see if any changes. I used to feed reef chili for my lps for once per wk but when I stopped, I didn’t see any difference.

Definitly keep reef roids on had for a quick boost to Nitrate and Phos if I see signs of paleing. Other than that I keep it to once a week. Maybe I'll just add another fish soon instead.
