Sps frags Horizontal, vertical, suspended?

Most of us have frags on racks which stands the frags vertical. Once we stick them on a rock or aquascape some go on slightly or completely horizontal.

Growth depends somewhat on orientation right?
Can someone clear it up for me.

Growth depends on them having the correct flow, light, water quality, and nutrition. If it is a little crooked no biggie.

So if a stag horn or tabling coral was to be placed horizontal it will just grow in that direction?

yes but usually up.
so if you have a stick(cut from a piece where it was pointed up), lay it horizontal itll send out branches up, or a table will begin to table out and up.
